The IR enemy detection<br>bits are all sorted out, at least while testing in my lab. I originally<br>was hitting the IR leds with 110mA of current to ensure that the detectors<br>would get reflections back... that was definitely the wrong way to go. I<br>underestimated how sensitive the IR detectors are. <grin> I ended up<br>scaling all the way back to 2.4mA, a factor of almost 50! Wow.<br><br>Richard Cook and I also spent a bit of time this weekend with the LineORE2<br>code and seeing if we could get it up and running on Linux or OSX. The<br>ds30loader software works like a charm! Well... Linux was a little<br>trickier, just needed to ensure the right mono libraries were kicking<br>around. MPLAB X is Microchips new IDE that supports windows, osx and linux<br>so we gave that a shot too. Also works well! It has an option to import<br>older MPLAB projects.
