   This is amazing!

   Just as a point of interest: I get that the design at this stage is
mostly functional, but from an aesthetic standpoint I find the top-heavy
grey and blue really intimidating - I feel like maybe we're supposed to see
this and make a connection to law enforcement. If I ran into this robot
rolling down the street jumping barricades I would not assume it was a
caregiver, a dog-walker, or a construction worker.
   And then there's this weird shape which I blame on watching too much
Star Wars (General Grievous?)... which now I can't unsee. :)
   "We have skulls on our uniforms. Does that make us the bad-guys?"

   Boston Dynamics' previous robots (the BigDog, for instance) share that
military/police look because they were developed for DARPA contracts, but
they were bought out by Google a couple of years ago and haven't changed
direction. I wonder if we'll be seeing BrowserCops patrolling the streets,
pre-cog arresting people based on their search history patterns? :)
