Hello,

I’m not sure how many of you have heard of POC21, but it is a pretty neat initiative that took place outside of Paris just before COP21. In their own words, "POC21 <http://www.poc21.cc/>, an innovation camp that united 300 geeks for 5 weeks to prototype the collaborative, circular economy."

They have a great video about the experience here http://www.openstate.cc <http://www.openstate.cc/>

They are a great showcase of some of the Maker Movement’s tools. The videos highlight some of the practical applications of this great set of idea.

In anycase, the POC21 initiative blended open source, environmental sustainability, community resilience and design thinking into their process. Lots of opportunity to emulate & extend.

Mike
