[Lab] Cool "Geological" Furniture Designs

   io9 have a neat-o roundup of furniture inspired by topographic maps and
terrain features. Lots of neat applications of plywood and glass, helped
along by CNC machines now and then.

   I know a few of you have tried sculptures using band-sawed plywood
sheets, stacked. How did your experiments turn out?

   I'm a little in love with the abyss table, but I'm wondering how much
all that glass weighs! I may have to get some extra floor joists put in
beneath it :)
