[Lab] lampshade thot

What's a good material to make a lamp shade from?

I'm looking for something I can laser cut but isn't flammable. (I mean it
wont burn on it's own very easy).

I suppose paper is okay but I'm not sure about putting it in proximity to
hot stuff. If things go wrong (it tips), I want it to be safe...

I just have this urge to make a lampshade from one of the snowflake
patterns that came forward.
