[Lab] software that permit me to do a full scan for 3d printing

Hi guys....  I am about to buy a 3d printer but I want to be able to do a full body scan of a person.....  To do human selfie.....   I know there's skanect and reconstruct me that can do that but is there a free alternative that I can take a look at.....
