You will need to open the udp port for your void modem, but really it
should just work.  the VOIP modem would just contact the server and wait
for phone calls.

Most ISP say that you need to put it directly infront of your router (like
tek savvy) but that is a BIG no no.  you end up redirecting ALL your
traffic to this cheap unsecured hackable box that will probably never get
updated.

if you need a modem or help configuring it let me know.  I have a modem I
could donate and spend quite abit of time fighting these voip boxes to work
behind a firewall.
