There is now a downloadable template for 10", 14" and 24" lanterns. There's
also a sketchup tutorial if you want to make your own size. So you make 5
parts on the laser, slap them together and stick tissue on it and presto,
it's a Parol Lantern.

There is event this weekend and I am wanting to bring some kits to sell and
then give the proceeds to the cause. I am making some 14" kits for (You can
see the details of the charity at
http://inventorartist.com/philippines-christmas-parol-lantern/ but it's
50,000 clean up kits, 30,000 shelter kits and 10,000 homes.

*If anybody would like to come and help* me operated the laser that would
be cool since I need breaks and stuff.

Also I'm low on the single corrugated cardboard (that's the kind that's two
layers of paper and one layer of corrugation). If anybody has any and can
get it to the lab (M70/M76) that would be cool.

I am wanting to make up some arduino and other lighting systems but that's
a bit delayed as I am making the kits. I will get to that next week (ideas
welcome). That part isn't really necessary for the charity.
