[Lab] 3d printer extruder

Hello,

I saw a kickstarter for the http://www.the3doodler.com/  recently and I
like to try making one myself.  Does anyone have any spare extruder I could
start with, or some spare heating wire?

I think this would be a fun way to play around with a little code, and some
hot plastic.
