[Lab] more ideas for fabrication

I'm considering making the plastic propellers for the Squirrel model
airplane (http://www.rubber-power.com).

Any comments about that?

This includes the propeller itself (which is about 6"), the hub that plugs
on the front of the stick (1/8x3/8x12") and the wire axle.

There may be a way of making them out of recycled pop bottles or something.
Or another material to consider. Perhaps cut from sheets?

I can make a propeller just like the one I'm using from some sort of casting
process (I think).
