Oh, this means : Federico, forget about writing an external class based on 
[#perspective]... vecops are a better solution.

And I just found there's also another reason not to inspire yourself from 
[#perspective] : it has a major ugly bug... it uses read-only data as a 
scratch buffer and destroys the data. It looks like this component isn't 
very much used because the bug probably has been there for 8 years.
