Our members are key to shaping Artengine, and they come in a variety of forms that help you access the benefits that you need from our organization. If you are an active producer and need access to our facilities, have a look at the Producing membership; if you are online and want to house your site on our artist-run server, look at our Online membership; if have knowledge to share, get involved with our Open membership program, and if you just want to show us you care (or need a projector) we have a Supporting membership. Below is more detailed descriptions and pricing structure of our memberships.

Producing Members are at the foundation of Artengine. They are the active users of our facilities. Producing work with our resources is not only shaping the organization, but contributing to the a richer cultural landscape in the city.
Producing Members are paying for access to the M70 Lab and the field equipment all bookable through our online booking system. Items that have rental rates (projectors, computers) are accessed at a reduced rate. Please see the description of the M70 Lab and the list of equipment for more details on the resources available.
$50 Annually (Must contact Artengine for approval)
This membership has all the benefits of the Producing Member, but requires the delivery of a free workshop during the year of membership.
Are you an active producer or maker? Do you have skills you want to share? Then the Open Membership is for you!
This new membership structure is designed to encourage a range of activities in our facilities and create a more formal structure for knowledge sharing through the community. The membership is simple. Potential members submit an idea for a workshop to the Technical Coordinator (AD), and upon approval gain access to the production equipment and lab facility for a period of one year. The AD will work with the Open Member to find a suitable time for the delivery of their workshop, and will promote the activity to both it's producing membership and the broader community. The Open Member will deliver the workshop, and create an entry into the Mod Lab Wiki with an outline of the information they have covered in the workshop.
Since its inception Artengine has strove to carve out a unique artist-run space in an increasingly commercial online environment. From basic hosting services to more ambitious network-based projects our Online membership is your connection to the artist-friendly services of our organization.
This membership includes 12 months of web hosting service; a one hour consultation for your website with our technical support staff; and continued access to our technical staff at a subsidized rate.
This membership guarantees a link to the member's website on the Community Page of the Artengine website (subject to Artengine's hosting/linking policy*).
