Aire de compostage est un projet de performance interactive entre l'artiste violoncelliste, le public et des projections vidéographiques construites \uc3a0 partir d'éléments organiques.
Des images projetées sur des écrans suspendus dans les arbres se modifieront avec le mouvement du spectateur qui influencera aussi l'espace sonore.

SOFTWARE PROJECTS

GridFlow - A multidimensional dataflow processing library intended for interactive video art. You can use it as PureData plugin on Linux and MacOSX.

(btw I'm looking for help to improve the MacOSX version)

DesireData (formerly ImpureData) - it's just like PureData, except it's different.^TM

project resumed recently after a lot of dormance... will release something (desiredata-0.39.A.tar.gz) soon

RubyX11 - My X11 client library for Ruby. This is used to control the screen and mouse and windowing in Linux, for example. This program is most different from the other similar ones, in that most of it is just a specification of the protocol, and a very very small part is an actual program. This program is meant to be used by other programs written in the Ruby language.

MetaRuby - An Abstract Container Library - Provides Ruby (1.6) with emulations of its Array/Hash/String classes, such that it is then easy to subvert them to do other things; for example, the data itself could be in a file, or generated on-the-fly, and/or be monitored (to implement history/undo/redo).

This project was originally larger in scope, having the purpose of rewriting the Ruby interpreter in a modular fashion, cleanly separating the parser, compiler, interpreter, built-in classes, and, along the way, add many critically useful hooks (e.g. for user-defined optimisations, symbolic macros, etc).

LinuxDevicesForRuby - A system I've designed to use some Linux drivers from the Ruby language. Currently supported: soundwave output, sound mixer, parallel port.
