ALVINA: A very good show. I was especially interested in the work of Kenneth Emig who sculptures space with light. He is also a performance artist and will be doing an improvisation to show the relationship between dance and sculpture. That's next Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1pm. Watch out as well for the violent and earthy oils of John Barkley and the multi textured three dimensional pieces by Jean Halstead who mixes plaster, plastic, lead, iron. The textures and shapes collide to produce something quite beautiful.
