Andrew Wright - APEX: Interloper/Intrus @ Corridor 45|75

APEX: Interloper
2019 Karsh Award laureate

January 16 to March 29, 2020

APEX: Interloper presents 11 of the 17 photographs in a large panoramic set shot in Apex, Nunavut, in 2011. At first glance, the repeated and offset views seem to show a remote and largely pristine environment. However, each photograph contains either overt or subtle evidence of various incursions into and onto this landscape at the top of the world. https://tinyurl.com/re3jn4k

Artist ANDREW WRIGHT creates works in many media and has been preoccupied with using photography in traditional and decidedly non-traditional ways for over 25 years.
