The Canada Council for the Arts invites you to the opening of its brand new exhibition Open Channels.
Discover the works of visual artists who took part in the Canada C3 sailing expedition organized for the 150th anniversary of Confederation, in 2017. Aboard the ship, they drew inspiration from Canada’s ever-evolving environmental, social and cultural landscapes, as well as from dialogue between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
The exhibition, which is being presented in partnership with The Students on Ice Foundation, is complemented by works from the Canada Council Art Bank collection.
Curated by Melissa Rombout, Open Channels will be on display until January 26, 2020, in the Canada Council for the Arts’ Âjagemô Exhibition Space.
