Jennifer Gibbs is a self-taught artist living in Ottawa. At present she gravitates toward acrylic, collage, and assemblage. Jennifer creates primarily on an instinctual basis, hoping that people will respond to the work on a similar level Since she began exhibiting a few years ago her work has appeared in local venues such as Gallery 101, SAW Gallery, Rasputin's, Cornwall's Weave Shed Art Centre, and the Aberdeen Pavilion during the annual Ottawa Art Festival. Various newspapers including The Ottawa Citizen have featured Jennifer and her paintings. In the United States she has exhibited at Galerie du Monde in Baltimore, Maryland.
